New Slang Productions are looking to meet Manchester based Queer PoC FOLX for Code Switch (Working Title)

Code Switch is a fun, vibrant, comedic show that wants to explore the joyful and empowering stories of how queer people of colour found their early beloved icons. Found often in genres like sci-fi and fantasy, and through them grew important values like confidence, coolness and justice. How do we use our imaginations to take that extra leap and envision a future where we belong? 

Interviews will be performed and the show will be directed by our Artistic Director Tian Glasgow.

Code Switch is being developed with a CREATE Bursary from the Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Arts & Culture Network, an LGBT Foundation project, supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

The CREATE Bursary is supported by Contact, HOME, Hope Mill Theatre, The Lowry, The Met, and Waterside Arts.
